Territory Manager – HVAC and Hearth

Our Hearth department is multi-faceted. We are the distributor of Kingsman/Marquis, Modern Flames, Montigo, Outdoor Great Room, SBI and MF Fire wood stoves and many more exciting product lines. Our offering runs the gamut: Fireplaces, Inserts in many fuel types. Gas, Wood, and Electric. Fire tables and Fire Features, Venting and other hearth products and accessories.


Our HVAC department is experiencing dramatic growth. We are the distributor of Trane Residential and Light Commercial, and GE HVAC Products in Atlantic Canada. Our offering runs the gamut: Heat Pumps (Ductless, and Central), Furnaces, Air Conditioners, Hydronics, IAQ products and accessories. We also manage the Home Depot HVAC installation program across the country.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager – HVAC & Hearth, to join our team in New Brunswick. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering relationships with our dealers and clients, ensuring seamless business operations and driving sales growth. Whether you are promoting eco-friendly HVAC solutions or delivering exceptional service in the Hearth industry, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of these evolving markets.


You must be able to budget effectively, present professionally, quote correctly, respond promptly, and execute on time. We strive to be the best in class and require our new TM to do the same. Managing the existing customer base and growing the territory will be your top priorities. You must identify market opportunities, qualify potential customer needs, tailor your services specifically to each customer and be in the field having face-to-face interactions regularly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Function as a liaison between our operations and clients, facilitating sales training, product releases, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with existing customers while seeking out opportunities for responsible growth with new partners.
  • Collaborate closely with owners, managers, salespeople, technicians, and administrative staff of client accounts to address their needs effectively.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify market opportunities, and tailor services to meet customer requirements.
  • Proactively communicate with management regarding customer concerns, changing inventory requirements, and market trends.
  • Participate in trade shows, dealer incentive trips, sales conferences, and training sessions to stay abreast of industry developments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant knowledge and experience within the HVAC and/or Hearth sectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal)
  • A Positive Attitude
  • Initiative-taking, Ambitious and Creative
  • Outstanding Customer Service Skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities (particularly relevant in managing customer accounts)
  • Proven sales and cold-calling experience (ideally in the HVAC/Hearth industry)
  • Strong ability to work independently to efficiently manage the assigned territory and accounts.
  • Strong presentation, time management and organizational skills
  • A strong interest and motivation for building relationships with customers, utilizing outstanding people skills.
  • Must be able to work in a demanding environment and enjoy learning new concepts and products. Strong Computer Skills (Excel, Word, SXE, Outlook)
  • Valid Driver’s License
